The first Avocet ABS Snap Secure cylinder was good, the MK2 was better - now the ABS MK3 offers the ultimate high security solution for wooden, aluminium, uPVC and composite doors. By incorporating no fewer than 6 addtional anti-pick devices in each cylinder than the previous MK2 model , the ABS MK3 cylinder has achieved BSI Kite Mark accreditation, "Secured By Design" approval and PAS24 compliance.
The Avocet ABS MK3 cylinder features unique "Snap Secure" patented technology that ensures that if the door is attacked, the cylinder snaps in two places and blocks access to the internal mechanism of your door lock.
This "Snap Attack" is THE most common method of entry due to the speed of entry (usually less than 30 seconds) and the lack of skill required. The Avocet ABS MK3 also incorporates bump resistant technology to prevent entry by the "Bump Key" method.
If required, you can choose to register your keys for free online to protect against unauthorised duplication . If you choose to register your keys, you will be asked by us for your registered password before extra keys are issued, keeping you in total control.
ABS cylinders are covered by a 10 year manufacturers guarantee, including FREE replacement if damaged during an attempted break-in.

Measure from the CENTRE of the fixing screw to each end of your cylinder. If you have measured correctly, adding the internal & external sizes together should result in the total length of your cylinder
(e.g. 35/45 =80mm total length).
Always quote your internal size first followed by the external (e.g. 35/45EXT)
IMPORTANT:
Please dont assume that all your locks are the same size! This is rarely the case
